DASANG/HAWAN SAMAGRI
Hawan Samagri is a blend of various natural and sacred ingredients used in Hindu rituals like havan, yagna, and puja. It consists of a combination of herbs, roots, flowers, and other materials.
The ingredients may vary depending on the region and tradition, but some common ingredients include dried cow dung, dried coconut shells, ghee, honey, jaggery, black sesame seeds, camphor, sandalwood powder, turmeric powder, and various aromatic herbs like holy basil, chamomile, and rose petals.
The hawan samagri is carefully prepared by combining the ingredients in a specific proportion, and then offered into the fire during the ritual. The smoke produced by burning the hawan samagri is believed to have a purifying and cleansing effect on the atmosphere, and it is considered an important part of many Hindu religious ceremonies.
